Hey Jammers! Have you ever visited a
forest environment? The Sarepia Forest is my favorite place in Jamaa! In a
forest environment, there are lots of trees and animals to see. Some of these
animals are wolves, birds, deer, and lots and lots of kinds of insects! Also,
many animals in Forests hibernate during the winter. Forests also have trees
with leaves that will fall during autumn. Some trees will also be evergreen
trees, which mean their leaves will never fall or change color during the
seasons. Forests are an amazing place to walk around and explore at, because
there are many animals to see in a forest!
Another kind of forest is a
rainforest, which has a lot of rain, which is why they have the word rain in
them! Rainforests has animals such as butterflies, beetles, reptiles, toucans,
parrots, and mammals! A rainforest has layers like the Emergent layer, the
Canopy, the Understory, and the forest floor. The Amazon rainforest is the
largest rainforest in the world, How cool is that! Sadly, due to deforestation
rainforests only cover around 6% of the earth’s surface now. Scientists believe
that there are millions of kinds of animals and plants in the rainforest that
are yet to be discovered! Rainforests are one of the coolest kind of forests
ever!
